Where is the Worst Soil in Utah?

We would be lying if we said that all areas of Utah experience the same amount of settling.  It’s just not true. There are certain areas of Utah, without a doubt, that experience significantly more foundation issues that other areas. Much of the soil in these areas have hydro-collapsible profiles; meaning: the moment water hits the load bearing strata/soil it can quickly collapse.
